A DREAMY BABY SHOWER

This past weekend, my family hosted the most beautiful baby shower honouring baby

Grewal and baby mama! What a dreamy event it was - all my close family, friends and

relatives, the venue, the decor, the cake, the party favours and food were everything I

could have ever wanted at my baby shower. We were fortunate that the provincial

covid-19 health and safety guidelines had eased allowing us to invite a lot more family

and friends than were previously permitted. We decided to keep the event intimate to

create meaningful interactions amongst our guests and to keep them engaged and

occupied. That's how every event should be - wouldn't you agree? All in all, the baby

shower was a hit for me, Manjot and our family and friends. Forever thankful for them!

Before we get into the gown, I owe it to the following vendors to commend and thank

them for a remarkable job: Naz and team from Bright Sky Events for the stunning decor,

Amy and team from Sweet Avenue Bakery for the delicious and gorgeous cake and Anu

and team from Blooming Canvas Press for the glam gold party favour tags. Each one of

them were quick with responding to my ideas and requests and ensured they delivered

exactly what they had promised. Thank you all!

Now onto the gown - I can't possibly end this blogpost without writing a bit about it. I came

across Chic Bump Club on instagram a few weeks before the baby shower. I was on the hunt

for an elegant white gown with just a tad bit of glam. The Rissa Maternity Gown fit all the

desired points and to top it all off, Manjot was all for it. I love it when he gets more excited

about my outfits than I do. You know when you look at something but are not entirely sure if

you like it or not? Try showing it to your partner or a close friend who understands your style

and majority of the time, their opinion can help you determine whether you should go ahead

with the purchase. So, going back to the gown - after Manjot's positive response, I knew I had

to get it. The ordering process was simple, the shipping was fast and the gown arrived 3 days

before the baby shower - I know, I am known for having items delivered as close to two days

before my events. My family would tell you crazy stories about it. Not my best attribute but

sometimes I take time developing a liking for things whereas other times, it comes instantly.
