THE ISLAND LIFE

Swimsuit: Topshop
Shorts: Zara (Similar Lucky Brand Shorts)

Following a total travel time of 22 hours, all we wanted was to get to our hotel,
complete a prompt check-in, and have our luggage secured in our room so that we
could finally lie in a comfortable bed and brush off our sleepiness. Fortunately, we
were able to check off all of the above quite smoothly. From the complimentary boat
ride to the hotel in the blue ocean to the spectacular service and staff, we enjoyed each
moment that we were at the Naka Island, a luxury collection Resort & Spa, Phuket.

Our first point of view of the hotel was this beautiful pier where the guests
were dropped off:

We were then taken in a buggy to the reception where we quickly checked in and enjoyed
a refreshing and a much needed welcome drink - lemongrass tea. As we arrived at the
hotel 3 hours before the check-in time, we were shown to the beautiful spa where we were
allowed to doze off on a comfortable bed-like sofa. Once our Tropical Pool Villa became
available, we were transported to our room.. which was a beautiful sanctuary surrounded
by nature. Dozing off to the sound of the swaying trees that engulfed our villa in its shade
and sound and waking up to the birds chirping were some of the most
surreal moments. Allow me to show you around:

Bathroom

Our bathroom was an open-air concept beaming with light and fresh air with one push
to the main window, which sat between the two sinks with a view of the lush green
plants and the room. The bathroom amenities were luxuriously packaged and placed in
our bathroom each morning. Getting ready in this peaceful space every morning was
exactly what we needed to kick start our day. See for yourself:

FOOD

Both of the hotel restaurants were situated amidst the most scenic views of
the neverending blue water, fresh sand and palm trees. During breakfast and lunch,
we experienced the clearest views from our table of the ocean and everything it had
to offer. At dinner, the area was transformed into a romantic and a lit up space with
dim music and delicious meals. A huge shoutout to the chefs and the servers
for accommodating our vegetarian preferences and presenting some of the
delicious food we have tasted.

A Happy Ending!

The 3 nights and 4 days that we were at the Naka Island were the perfect beginning to

our 14-day long trip! Thanks to the generous and the loving staff for making our
stay even more special with their smiles and first-class hospitality.

Thank you for reading. I cannot wait for you to read my blogpost about other
places that we stayed at while we were in Phuket and Bali. Talk soon!

Love,
